Asia Pacific Robot Alliance (APRA) 2018
3 students from the Robotics Team participated in Asia Pacific Robot Alliance and got 2nd runner-up in the Hong Kong regional section. They then represented Hong Kong to compete with other Asian cities and countries in Taiwan.




InnoSTEMer 2019
6 students from I.T. Team participated in the InnoSTEMer Education Camp 2019 and won the Silver Award and Bronze Award with their ‘RFID Product Index System’ and ‘Smart Walking Stick’ designed for the visually-impaired. They were invited to present their innovation to the public at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.




創科夢啓航機械人巡禮
Four students from I.T. Team created a robotics football game and they were awarded the Creative Award in the event 創科夢啓航機械人巡禮 organized by Home Affairs Department of Kowloon City District Office.



Inter-secondary School Virtual Reality Contest
Two students from ICT and two students from Chinese History collaboratively created a virtual reality game based on a story of ancient China and won the 2nd Runner-up in the Inter-secondary School Virtual Reality Contest organized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

2017 Hong Kong STEM Education – Unleashing Potential Innovation Competition
Our students participated in the “2017 Hong Kong STEM Education – Unleashing Potential innovation Competition” organised by the Hong Kong International Exchange of Artist and Cultural Association on 17th December 2017. Our students had outstanding performance in the competition and received 1st Runner-up in the Senior Division.

Hong Kong Technology and Renewable Events 2017
On 2nd December 2017, the Hong Kong Technology and Renewable Energy Events organised by e-Campus Today, Electronics Technology Education Association (H.K.) were held in the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks. Taking part in the events, students could gain an experience of applying different principles of renewable energy and learn from others while competing. Our students received remarkable results. F.2A Lau Fo Chun and F.2E Ip Bless received championship in Group 2 - Wireless Charging Supercap Model Car Competition.

Asia Pacific Robot Alliance (APRA)
Two students F.2B Chen Yin Yu and F.2B Lee Chit Long from I.T. Team participated in Asia Pacific Robot Alliance (APRA) and won in the Hong Kong regional section. They then represented our school to compete with other Aisan cities and countries in Taiwan on 9th December 2017. They entered the final round and became one of the 10 finalists in the competition and were awarded two medals. During the competition, they designed and built their robotic car on the spot and developed a programme so that the robotic car could move automatically to detect enemies and have a fight with them.



Robofest
Students of I.T. Team got champions in Robofest (Hong Kong Section) and they represented Hong Kong to compete in the final round of the competition held in the USA in May 2018.

InnoSTEMer 2018
Three students Chan Baak Qiu (F.2B), Chan Kei Ching (F.3A) and Kai Tsz Wing (F.3D) participated in the “InnoSTEMer 2018” last summer organized by the Association of IT Leaders in Education. Within the 3-day education camp, they had to come up with their innovation immediately after they had been assigned the topic to enhance the living standard of people in subdivided flats. They also had presentations on their proposal to ask for the resources in order to complete the model on their own. They achieved remarkable results and won the Silver Award with their ‘Smart Laundry System’. They were invited to join the Learning and Teaching Expo 2018 on 12th December to further present their work to the public.
