Jointly organized by Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust & Centre of Asian Studies, HKU
Munsang College is approaching its 85th anniversary in the year 2011. To mark this important event, we have participated in the “Hong Kong Memory Project” jointly organized by Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and Centre of Asian Studies, HKU.
This is a multimedia website for the collection and preservation of materials that reflect the collective memory of Munsang people. It not only provides us with a chance to reminisce about our colourful school life but also serves as a showcase for our unique spirit and culture to the general public. The website will start to demonstrate and share our cultural memories with every citizen in August.
We are one of the earliest pilot schools being invited to join this project; we have interviewed various alumni and uploaded numerous valuable items to this school memories website. In the past few months, we were even interviewed by Ming Pao, the Next Magazine and the Commercial Radio for sharing our valuable experiences in collecting the beautiful memories of the school.
This school memories website indeed belongs to every Munsang people/ Munsangites. However, the website could not come to a resounding success without your valuable contributions. We would like to invite you to donate memorable items, such as publications, team uniforms, welfare products, photos and anything that can remind us of our times of laughter, tears, and most importantly, friendship and growth. If you want to join our research team or to know more about the Hong Kong Memory Project, please don’t hesitate to approach Ms. Tam Sau Lai or Ms. Wong Kam Hung.
